Turn back the hands of time on Sunday, september 15 from 11am - 5pm. in the historic Elizabeth Park and recature the essence of Elizabeth Park, as it was in the early 1900's, through old time entertainment, old fashioned games, arts and crafts, bake sale, children's area and more. Stroll down memory lane while taking a leisurely walk through automotive time featuring antique and classic cars dating back to the Model T. Celebrate this carefree, bygone era. It's a history lesson worth living. Sponsored in cooperation with Wayne County Parks.
The marina is located across from island of Grosse Ile and provides easy access up and down the Detroit River. It’s a great place to stop between Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair. Elizabeth Park Marina and Boat Launch provides four launching and four loading wells and a 52-slip mooring facility. The facility has utility hookup, pump station and new shower facility. This award-winning transient marina was built in 1993 through an Urban Waterways Grant.
We look forward to seeing you for the 2013 boating season! Call in advance for boat slips and reservations.
